Steven Newton began working with Nicholls & Crampton in 2013.  He concentrates his practice in the areas of eminent domain/land condemnation, property rights litigation, land use law, bankruptcy and commercial litigation.  Prior to joining Nicholls & Crampton, Mr. Newton served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephani W. Humrickhouse, Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.  He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy.  He received his J.D./M.B.A. joint degree from Campbell University in 2012, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the law school and Summa Cum Laude from the business school.
